The summer sun overhead, rustling fields of grain all around, and a small house with an unusual wooden crown... It's a scene straight out of childhood memories of carefree vacations at the grandparents' house, when time passed more slowly and every day smelled of grass and freshly cut grain. The warmth of summer hangs in the air, the sky turns pink over the fields in the evenings, and the silence is broken only by the singing of birds and the distant chirping of crickets. Here, it is easy to remember that happiness is within reach. The house in the cornfield is located away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to larger cities to easily go shopping or have dinner at a restaurant. The area offers forest trails, bike paths, and small local museums telling the history of the region. There are historic churches, open-air museums smelling of wood and campfire smoke, and markets with local cheeses and honey. You can go for a walk among the fields, head to the nearby lake to have fun on a SUP, visit the workshops of craftsmen, or simply sit on a bench and watch the wind ripple through the grain. We also have bicycles for our guests, which will make it easier to explore the area. The house itself is intimate and cozy, designed to accommodate a few people seeking peace and quiet. It features comfortable beds for four to six guests, a bright living area with large windows opening onto the landscape, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom where morning coffee tastes best when drunk barefoot on the cool floor. Wooden elements, natural fabrics, and warm lighting create a sheltering atmosphere. It is a place for cooking together, playing board games at the table, long conversations late into the night, and reading books under a blanket while it rains outside. The uniqueness of Dom w zbożu lies in its simplicity. In its wooden crown, which gives it a fairy-tale character. In the mornings, when the first rays of sunlight shine inside, and there is nothing around but space and nature. In the evenings by the fire, when the sky is full of stars and silence becomes a luxury. It is a place where you can slow down without remorse and remember what true rest tastes like.If you dream of a moment of respite, the scent of summer, and a home that will become your private haven of peace for a few days, allow yourself this journey. The house in the cornfield is waiting for someone to open its doors again and leave a piece of their smile behind.

You will come across it while wandering through the cornfield. It stands there like a scarecrow, but it does not cause panic, rather it arouses interest. What is this ragged cube among the golden ears of corn? In a Masurian field. In the middle of nowhere. The house grew up among the crops and fits perfectly into the landscape. Probably because its shape is inspired by a cube of straw, or a ciuk. And we have plenty of straw here. From the large panoramic windows, you can admire bales scattered across hectares, even more fields, cows grazing on grass, groves, and forests. Here, you don't enter nature with your shoes on, but rather as a quiet observer. You listen to the croaking frogs and arguing cranes, watch the gray heron and the springy gray birds. Sometimes a deer peeks out from the grain, and black beetles, flour beetles, come to visit the living room. There is no need to be afraid of them, just slide the culprit onto a piece of paper and take it out to the field. That's how life is here. In spring in rubber boots, in summer in a deckchair, in winter by the fireplace. Sleep is short, but deep and effective, focusing on quality rather than quantity. Time is spent cycling, by the lake, with your head in the stars and binoculars to your eyes. Boredom, rural silence, nothing happening. Maybe that's why people here live to a ripe old age in good health. Only peace and quiet can save us.
