This is exactly the rhythm you’ll find at Pracownia Cieńsza, a place created for those who want to slow down for a moment and let their thoughts wander their own paths.The studio is located in the small Mazovian village of Cieńsza, on the border of the Biała Kurpie region, near the Biała Forest and the Narew River valley. It is a landscape of meadows, fields, and forests, where silence is a natural part of the day. At the same time, the location remains surprisingly close to larger cities. It takes about an hour to get here from Warsaw, and Pułtusk is just a dozen or so kilometers away. In the area, it’s worth taking a walk along the Narew River, cycling through the forest roads of the Biała Forest, or visiting historic Pułtusk with its long market square and charming townhouses. Lovers of history and regional culture can explore local museums and sites associated with the Kurpie tradition.Nestled among the greenery, on a spacious plot surrounded by nature, two cozy "Houses of Imagination" have been built. Each is a small wooden house designed to bring you closer to nature and provide a sense of peace. The cottages are named "Inspiration" and "Reflection" and can accommodate up to four people. Inside, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a sleeping loft, a living area with a place to relax, and a bathroom. Large windows open the interiors to the garden and the surrounding landscape, and the terrace allows you to start your day with a cup of coffee amid the singing of birds.A stay here is more than just a night’s lodging surrounded by nature. Pracownia Cieńsza is also an art space. The place was created around the work of painter Henryk Musiałowicz, and in the garden you can see his sculptures, which blend naturally into the landscape. Guests can stroll through the courtyard, read books in the shade of the trees, paint outdoors, bike along the nearby roads, or spend evenings by the campfire. It is a space that fosters tranquility, conversation, and creative ideas.

The Cieńsza Studio also houses a gallery where you can not only view the installations and sculptures created on-site by Henryk Musiałowicz, but also relax—sit on the sofas, listen to music, or work out in a specially designated room. On the grounds of Pracownia Cieńsza (the entire property spans nearly a hectare), we have much more to offer you. Not only the Artist’s House and the gallery, but also two small cottages tucked away at the edge of the property, an old cabin that serves as a creative workspace, and the hosts’ home, where they’re always ready to lend a hand.
