Surrounded by mountain slopes, where lush green meadows blend with the scent of spruce forests, Podobin offers visitors a range of natural and cultural treasures. It is a village where every bend in the road reveals a new view – sometimes it is a narrow valley with a stream glistening in the sun, other times it is the panorama of the Gorce Mountains with their characteristic, undulating ridges. The area is perfect for exploring. A few kilometers away, the trails of the Gorczański National Park begin, leading to Turbacz, Stare Wierchy, and Kudłoń, where you can still see sheep grazing and smell the aroma of mountain herbs. It is an ideal place for long and short walks, observing nature, and breathing deeply. In Poręba Wielka, there are thermal pools with a view of the mountains, and on cooler days, saunas and relaxation areas. Cycling enthusiasts can take a picturesque route towards Mszana Dolna, and those who prefer water can reach Lake Czorsztyńskie in less than an hour, where excursion boats run between the medieval castles in Czorsztyn and Niedzica.

Within a radius of several kilometers, there are also places that tell the story of the region, such as the Museum of Highlanders and Robbers in Rabka-Zdrój, full of colorful stories about Beskid robbers, and the Władysław Orkan Museum, located in a historic wooden church from the 17th century. In the town itself, it is worth taking a walk in the spa park and visiting the graduation tower to breathe in the brine-saturated air. Not enough? Visit Rabkoland, an amusement park for the youngest and those a little older!

Podobin is located about 25 kilometers from Limanowa and 50 kilometers from Krakow, which is close enough to combine your stay with a visit to the city, but also intimate enough for your mornings to begin with birdsong and your nights to pass in silence interrupted only by the sound of a stream. On one of the nearby hills, called "Świstak," you can see the most beautiful sunrises in the entire Gorce Mountains, and although no one has scientifically confirmed this, everyone who has been there agrees that it is absolutely true!

Sometimes, all you need to do is turn onto a narrow forest road to find yourself in another world. A world where the only clock is the sun wandering over the mountain ridges, and the coming morning is heralded only by the fog settling low over the meadows. There, on the slope of Potaczkowa Mountain, awaits Horyzont Spokoju (Horizon of Peace) – a wooden cottage that will hide you from the whole world.

This place is designed for two, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, although thanks to the sofa bed, four people can also stay here comfortably. The 25 m² interior is cozy and warm. You will find everything you need here—a kitchenette, air conditioning, soft bedding, fresh towels... But the real heart of this cottage is the huge window that fills the entire room with a view of the green peaks of the Beskid Wyspowy mountains.

In front of the entrance, there is a terrace where morning coffee tastes better in the fresh air, and in the evening you can listen to the quiet concert of crickets. Next to it, there is a hammock in the shade of trees and a place for a bonfire, perfect for wrapping yourself in a blanket, watching the dancing flames, and letting time slip away without haste. And if you want a special moment of luxury, there is an outdoor wood-fired jacuzzi waiting for you. Immerse yourself in the warm water and watch the night sky full of stars shine over the mountains.

You can spend your days however you like – lazing around on the terrace with a book, walking along nearby trails, or actively exploring the area on electric bikes, which will take you to places inaccessible to cars, where the sound of the forest is so deep that you can hear your own heartbeat.
