The Beskid Wyspowy range owes its name to the isolated peaks located in close proximity to each other, which somewhat resemble lonely islands with a mountainous and foothill landscape encouraging outdoor activities. The highest peak is Mogielnica (1,170 m), but the area also includes Ćwilin, Jasień, Modyń, Luboń Wielki, Krzystonów, and many others. There are also mountain passes in the Beskid Wyspowy range (m.in. Glisne, Gruszowiec. Jaworzyce) and caves (m.in. Zimna Dziura, Jaskina Zbójecka in Łopień, and Jaskinia in Jaworz). Fans of walking and Nordic walking will enjoy the proximity of the Dunajec and Raba rivers. Guests of Rogate Domki have easy access to the Tatra, Pieniny, and Beskid Wyspowy mountains from the 28-meter observation tower in Skiełek, as well as the oldest continuously operating abbey in Poland, the Cistercian Abbey in Szczyrzyc. Beer lovers will certainly enjoy the opportunity to taste beer brewed according to a traditional recipe at the brewery in Szczyrzyc. There will also be plenty of attractions for lovers of historical monuments - the area is particularly rich in brick churches and roadside shrines. The Mogielnica Nature Reserve offers the opportunity for hiking and nature observation in extraordinary conditions.

I was born in the countryside, in my family home, because my mother didn't make it to the maternity ward in time. That's also where I spent the first years of my childhood. I always knew that I would return to the countryside because I missed the view of the horizon in the city. I met my husband in London, and after returning to Poland, we looked for a place where we would like to live; Paweł wanted to go to the Bieszczady Mountains, but I preferred my home region. Małopolska was a compromise for us, roughly halfway between the two. We bought a house near Dobczyce/Myślenice, and this is where we are building our Rogate Domki. We fell in love with this area. It is incredibly beautiful, and in my opinion, it is still relatively unknown to tourists.
With each new house, Paweł strengthens his love for construction. He builds all the houses practically by himself and is getting better and better at it :)
We now have two daughters and a dog, and we lead a blissful country life.
